We’re going to see the Pixies!

But I’m still riding the wave of the Annie Lennox/Sting show, where Annie was just incredible and we had rock star seats in the 13th row. (If I had thrown my house key at Sting, which I considered, it would actually have hit him!)

4 Nagl August 14, 2004 at 10:03 am: Having seen them in a field a month or so back, I can guarantee that it really IS as good as you’d hope, even though you keep telling yourself it couldn’t be, how could it, but it is, it is, oh blimey o’reilly IT IS. Get as close to the front as possible and prepare to bounce.

6 Nagl August 20, 2004 at 1:20 pm: Aye, I know The Datsuns – got their first album simply because it was autographed and on sale for a tenner. Not *quite* my thing – bit too close to Kings of Leon and the Darkness for comfort – but better than both of them at least, and from what I’ve heard on John Peel, they knock out a great set live.

And now, I am genuinely going to go and get me some haggis for dinner. What a life!
