Supreme Court denies Barbie case
The Supreme Court today
denied MCA's petition to hear its appeal regarding the Barbie Girl case. As you might recall, Mattel sued MCA saying the record label violated Mattel's Barbie trademarks. MCA won in lower courts on grounds that Barbie Girl is a clear parody.
