From the New York Times, two articles look at forgotten bits of the city’s past: a Queens cemetary, and a Bronx synagogue.

One of these days, I gotta get on one of those ForgottenNY tours.

I’m fascinated by these websites. I love history! Also, I must admit to supposing that NYC is all urban, only urban. Boy, am I ever wrong! Thank you so much for turning me onto these sites… they’re one more reason I want to visit NYC one of these days.
